Amir Khan has dabbled in many vocations other than boxing. He has been featured in many realties shows throughout his career. In the year 2017, he appeared in the reality show named “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! ” It is a British reality TV series in which a bunch of notable celebrities from all walks of life live together in a remote jungle.

Khan was a contestant in the reality show. Recently, he took to Instagram to share a clip of the show in which he describes spending 1 million dollars. And he also made a shocking revelation about his wedding which left all the contestants stunned.

What did Amir Khan reveal about his wedding?

In 2013, Khan got married to Faryal Makhdoom in New York but also had a second celebration in Manchester. Makhdoom is a celebrity in her own right; she is an American model and YouTuber amongst other things. In the reality show, Khan revealed that there were over 4000 guests at his wedding celebrations in Manchester. Other contestants found it hard to believe and started to question Khan. The former boxer then explained how so many guests got invited.

He stated, “I had 4000 people at my wedding. It’s family and friends. Everyone likes to be there. Everyone wants big groups to come.”  He also explained that even if he invites one individual then they would ultimately bring their whole family. He adds, “If you call one family member. No, they want to bring aunty, uncle, cousin brother and sister. I spent about a million pounds on my wedding.”

The revelation left the celebrities stunned but they also acknowledged that it was Khan’s hard-earned money and if he decided to spend a million dollars on his wedding that it is his own choice.

Khan confesses that he did not like his wedding

One would assume spending a million dollars at the wedding would make one satisfied. However, Khan revealed that he did not enjoy his wedding; he would rather not have an extravagant wedding. He stated, “If I was to do it again, it would just be me and my wife.” He also stated, “Like I did not get to enjoy it. It was that busy it was that many people there.”
