Amir Khan and Kell Brook have gone after each other for almost a year now. Both the Brits challenged each other for a fight numerous times, but not even once, the news of their bout got official. However, both their teams recently interacted with each other, and major work regarding the bout is done.
The hardcore boxing fans are eager to see this contest, as it’ll determine who among the two still has some prowess left in him.
A fight between Khan and Brook is reportedly being targeted for February 19 ’22. Also, this contest is expected to go on floors in Manchester. This bout isn’t official yet because there are some points yet to be ironed out. However, major junctures like purse split and more are done.

Khan last fought in 2019, wherein he attained a win over Billy Dib. In this bout, he battled Dib for the vacant WBC international welterweight title. Putting on a fine performance, Khan T/KOed Dib in round 4 of the fight. Post that, boxing pundits expected ‘King Khan’ to remain active.
But it’s been nearly two years, and he hasn’t stepped inside the boxing ring.
On the other hand, Brook remained substantially active with his boxing stint. He didn’t take any fight in 2021, but, last year, the Brit got a chance to square off with the WBO welterweight champ, Terence Crawford. He ended up losing this fight against ‘Bud’ and is now eager to get back his stint on track.
Moving on, with the position both Khan and Brook are in, this just seems the ideal time for the pair to collide.
