Is Amir Khan the ‘bigger liar?’

In 2017, fans were furious over Amir Khan and Iain Lee after an episode of ‘I’m A Celebrity.’ Why? Because Khan and Lee ate their food prize all by themselves.

After successfully completing the Dingo Dollar Challenge, Khan and Lee were awarded strawberries and cream. They were supposed to share it with their teammates. However, while on their way back Amir said: “Shall we eat them and say it was the wrong answer, shall we do that?”

Although Lee was tempted, he hesitated. But Amir was persuasive. He poured the cream on the strawberries and started eating them. Amir told Lee not to tell anyone.

Unfortunately for Amir, Iain was riddled with guilt. He couldn’t hold it in and confessed to his fellow celebrities. As a result, both men did not have food that night.

To make matters worse, Khan put the entire blame on Lee. Fans were angry and even accused the producers of staging the “Strawberry Gate.”

What’s next for Khan?

Khan last competed against Billy Dib in July 2019. The Briton plans to fight Manny Pacquiao but before that, he would prefer a tune-up fight. It is worth noting that Pacquiao and Khan have trained and sparred together in the past.
