YouTuber turned boxing sensation, Jake Paul, is all set to showcase a sensational showdown against his longtime nemesis, Tommy Fury. This showdown undoubtedly has fans at the edge of their seats, more so because the fight was previously canceled twice. This event also boasted a fiery array of fights as a part of the card. The most interesting among these was in fact a WBC cruiserweight world championship bout between Badou Jack and Ilunga Makabu. And, the fight saw Jack come in all guns blazing.

Jack faced Makabu at the Diriyah Arena in Saudi Arabia, on February 25, 2023. Meanwhile, Jack was confident of his victory ahead of the fight. He even spoke about the same, saying, “There are a lot of big fights happening out here. I have a chance to become the first Muslim to win a world title in Saudi Arabia. It’s an honor to add to that growing tradition.”

From the get-go, Jack made it a point to display his pugilistic prowess. As the fight entered the final round, many thought that the result of the fight would come through a decision. However, Jack proved that he truly is a maestro of explosive finishes. And hit Makabu with a volley of punches, downing him.
In victory, he also became the new owner of Makabu’s WBC cruiserweight belt.
