Floyd Mayweather is all set to face John Gotti III in an exhibition match on June 11 as part of his plan to have 5 exhibitions in nine months. However, Mayweather recently became the talk of the town online for a whole different reason. Recently Shannonnn sharpes Burner (PARODY Account) shared an old video of the fight between Mayweather and Marco Maidana. During their second bout in 2014, Floyd Mayweather accused Maidana of biting his left hand during a headlock in round 8.

Mayweather went on to win the fight via unanimous decision. The fight which was dubbed as “Mayhem” was not without its fair share of controversy. Moreover, after the fight, Mayweather revealed that his fingers went numb for the remainder of the fight after the bite. However, Maidana denied the allegations. He claimed that Mayweather’s hand may have been in his mouth, but he didn’t bite him. What really had the fans talking was Mayweather’s response after getting bitten. Fans were quick to make fun of Mayweather as he screamed after the alleged bite. Though the referee didn’t see anything, people don’t know who to believe.

Fans recently reacted to an old video of Floyd Mayweather’s match on Twitter.

Trick Step-Daddy Dollars commented on the video, saying that it sounded like stepping on ‘your blue nose by accident’. He essentially made fun of Mayweather’s scream right after the alleged bite.

Only Way is, on the other hand, questioned whether the glove had any padding. He claimed that Mayweather shouldn’t have felt the bite if there were padding in the glove.

brody jokingly compared Maidana’s act of allegedly biting Mayweather’s hand with Mike Tyson biting Evander Holyfield’s ear off.

TACO CHORIZO, also made fun of Mayweather’s scream as he expressed his disbelief that people refer to Floyd as GOAT.

Lastly, Tyler “Ty” Braithwaite commented on the match, saying that Maidana was frustrated with Mayweather’s constant hugging, which prevented him from landing any hard hits.

Cameron 11/14 commented on the referee, stating,  it was obvious that he wouldn’t be able to see anything.
