After putting forth an amazing set of skills in the MMA world, Silva turned professional boxer to test his pugilistic skills. Before booking a fight with ‘The Problem Child’, he had been to the ring twice.

Speaking to FightHype.com, the former UFC middleweight champion said, “Listen, I can’t go easy because I say that oh do that I disrespect my fans like disrespect the boxing community. That’s why you continue fight. That’s why I come inside the boxing to prove my respect for the boxing community. You know and it’s not joke. It’s not an exhibition fight. It’s a real fight. That’s why I go do my best.”

However, one thing that could go in Paul’s favor is Silva’s age. He is pretty old compared to the 25-year-old controversial YouTuber.

Before this fight, Paul was most likely to settle business with his rival, Tommy Fury. Unfortunately, it could not happen. Therefore, Paul gave an opportunity to an established boxer, Hasim Rahman Jr. However, that fight was also scraped because Rahman Jr. couldn’t adhere to the weight restrictions.

Now finally he is going to take a shot at Silva.
