Even after signing off from the sport, he hasn’t abandoned his boxing training regimes completely. The 36-year-old possesses all the traits to make a scintillating comeback.
Recently, in a chat with DAZN Boxing, Ward was asked to pick between Canelo Alvarez and Anthony Joshua for his return. To which he responded, “That’s a good one I’m going, Anthony Joshua. All or nothing. All or nothing!”
Ward contended in the super-middleweight and light-heavyweight roster in his fight days. Although Canelo fights in the same roster he used to, ‘S.O.G’ had a clear pick in terms of whom he will take on.

Both Joshua and Canelo rank in the top-tier boxers of the modern era and provide a stern test to their opponents.
And Ward has always rooted for mighty challenges that shake him up, and this is principally why he got inclined towards a Joshua fight rather than the Mexican boxer’s challenge. Because in terms of weight, power, reach, money, and hype, Joshua races ahead of Canelo.
Joshua fights a couple of weight classes above Ward’s weight class, and the world knows what the Brit can pull off.

Ever since his retirement, Ward hasn’t quite expressed an interest in making a comeback. He enjoyed a magnetic run in boxing with an impressive track record of 32 wins.
His fans assumed him to go a little longer in his professional boxing reign, but the American opted to hang his gloves up for good.
If he still wants a storming comeback to the ring, ‘S.O.G’ will have to enter a unique training program altogether to match his previous efficiency.
Both the super-middleweight and light heavyweight divisions he fought in have turned highly stacked with ultra-competitive boxers.
However, the former champion exhibits the audacity to stun his opponents even at his current age. It will get enticing if he decides to enter the squared circle.
