The 31-year-old gave fans another insight into his fresh look. He shared a workout video on his Instagram where he was doing an upright row in the gym. However, what caught the eye of many fans were the quads of the heavyweight.

The video displayed Ruiz Jr.’s shredded quadriceps muscles, which no one would have associated with him before his transformation. This showed the effect of the incredible leg workouts the former champion has done. Moreover, it also proved that Ruiz Jr. not only lost weight, but also built up muscle.

‘Destroyer’ relies on his speed and power in his fights. And in boxing, power comes from the legs thanks to a firm base. Therefore, seeing Ruiz Jr. with massive leg muscles will be a scary prospect for the other heavyweights.
