Andy Ruiz Jr. Reveals How He Died Before Fighting Anthony Joshua

 Andy Ruiz Jr. shocked the boxing fraternity when he defeated Anthony Joshua during their first fight. In a recent interview, he reveals an interesting incident when he entered the ring.

In an interview with ESNEWS, The Mexican heavyweight was discussing his mindset before facing Joshua.

While talking about his strategy, he said, “He (Manny Robles) told me, uh, die before, die before you go in the ring like you, you die for Christ and um, to go in the ring, so basically, I was walking like a deadman in the ring like fearless and didn’t care. You know, that was my moment. It was my time to shine, and I didn’t want to let this opportunity go like how I did when Joseph Parker in New Zealand.”

The Destroyer had a fearless mindset when he entered the ring. Although he wasn’t fully prepared for the fight, he kept his spirit high, as he didn’t want to miss this opportunity.

This mindset was imbibed by his ex -coach, Manny Robles, who asked him to give his best.

This strategy of Ruiz led him to a victory over Joshua, and he became the new heavyweight champion.
