‘The Destroyer’ goes into this fight on the back of 18-months out of the sport. However, in this time, Ruiz Jr. has lost almost 30 lbs and looks to be in fantastic shape. Ruiz Jr. has incredible hand speed and power. Moreover, his weight loss means he will move better and could even box on the outside.
Arreola has slight physical advantages going into the bout. However, he does not have the style and speed to match Ruiz Jr. ‘The Nightmare’ prefers to stand and trade rather than move. Therefore, it will be a fight between two contrasting styles.

Our prediction for Andy Ruiz Jr. vs. Chris Arreola
Given all the advantages Ruiz Jr. has ahead of the fight, we are picking him to beat Arreola. Moreover, we predict a TKO for the former champion in round 6. However, it could come earlier than round 6.
While Arreola has the experience, Ruiz Jr. will be too much for him, especially after such a long lay-off. We think Ruiz Jr.’s speed, power, and movement will be too much for ‘The Nightmare’ to handle.

However, in heavyweight boxing, anything can happen as we saw with Ruiz Jr.’s first fight with Anthony Joshua. Therefore, we could see an upset from ‘The Nightmare’ if he can land a few combinations in the clinch.
