The Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury fight has failed to materialize. This is because the ex-WBC champ, Deontay Wilder, played his cards and won a case to seal a trilogy with ‘The Gypsy King’. Now, the unified heavyweight champ, Joshua, doesn’t have an opponent. Thus, his ultimate dream to fight for all the heavyweight titles is on the back burner for now.

That said, Joshua didn’t want to spare this chance of taking a dig at his compatriot, Tyson Fury. In a string of tweets, Joshua and Fury engaged in an ugly spat, thus mocking each other in their own eccentric way.

Joshua, who fired the first salvo on ‘The Gypsy King’ wrote, .@Tyson_Fury the world now sees you for the fraud you are. You’ve let boxing down! You lied to the fans and led them on. Used my name for clout not a fight. Bring me any championship fighter who can handle their business correctly.”

The WBC heavyweight king responded, @anthonyjoshua your more full of sh*t that Eddie, Spouting absolute sh*te! your full team knew there was an Arbitration going on, it was out of my hands! but i tell you what if i’m a fraud let’s fight this weekend bare knuckles till 1 man quits? let’s put up 20 mill each!!!”

The duo didn’t stop here, and their banter only intensified with every tweet.

As the heavyweight champions went all guns blazing against each other, their frustration at not being able to stage a fight against each other was visible.

Anthony Joshua fumed over Tyson Fury for not helping Billy Joe Saunders’ father

Tyson Fury was ringside for the Canelo vs Saunders fight on May 8. After the fight, Billy Joe Saunders’ father, tried to go and check on his son in the ring. However, he got stopped and engaged in a severe brawl with a security guard. Fury was standing beside him when this whole incident took place.

In his final tweet, Joshua painted shots at the undefeated boxer by posting a video of the incident on his Twitter. He wrote, “You’re not about that bare knuckle life. A barrier held you back, not even a bouncer!”
