To his surprise, ‘Money’ Mayweather was ringside when Joshua utilized the icon’s move.

The Brit recently shared a video on his social handle where he narrated how he felt whilst landing his favorite Floyd Mayweather shot.

He said, “It was the first time we were allowed fans back and Mayweather was in the stadium, It was an honor to have him in the house. I respect him highly for what he has achieved. He came to see me perform, and I pulled off one of his favorite moves – the pull-counter.”

‘Money’ Mayweather used the pull-counter in almost every fight of his life. With his unbreakable defense and slick counter-attacks, Mayweather puzzled opponents throughout his career.

Being a heavyweight, Joshua landed the same shot with cracking power onto Pulev’s chin that staggered him. With this win, the 31-year-old retained his heavyweight titles and stayed at the crest of the gigantic men’s division. Post the fight, ‘AJ’ met Mayweather backstage, wherein the duo posed for a picture.
