Anthony Joshua and Eddie Hearn rank among the most ideal fighter-promoter duos. Over the course of time, their relationship has only strengthened and both of them have come a long way. This shows how the Matchroom chairman protects his fighters in their darkest phases. However, Joshua recently gave a staggering take on Eddie Hearn.

Speaking to iFL TV, he said, “Eddie speaks for me as well, but he’s not in my camp. So sometimes when he says things, I’m like he doesn’t have the full 101 on certain things I’m going through. After claiming gold in the 2012 London Olympics, Joshua stepped into the professional boxing world in 2013. He attracted attention from his compatriots, and Matchroom saw an upcoming boxing star in him. As a result, Joshua signed an 8-year deal with Matchroom Boxing and never looked back.

Also, Joshua played a pivotal part in the overall growth of Matchroom Boxing and Eddie Hearn as a promoter.

Hearn, on the other side, always looked to roll out all of Joshua’s fights in the most enigmatic manner. Together, the duo reached new heights, thus setting an example for other fighters and promoters.

Taking it to his Instagram, Joshua wrote, “From first to the last signature. ”
