He also ended the KO-draught that was itching him for the past two years and wants to meet WBC champion, Tyson Fury, in 2021. However, ’AJ’ deserves to receive the credit and relish his big win tonight.

Right from the start, he outpointed Kubrat Pulev with constant jabs and landed the big ones at the right places. In round 3, he secured two knockdowns and sent the whole boxing community into a frenzy.

It appeared to be a close-call for Pulev but ‘The Cobra’ regained a vertical base and continued the showdown till round 9.

He also had his moments in round eight and landed some prominent jabs on Anthony Joshua. But round 9 saw ‘AJ‘ wrest control of the fight in a massive way. He landed some thunderous uppercuts to seal the victory.
