Anthony Joshua, the ex-unified WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight titleholder, is gearing up to become a third-time heavyweight champion. However, ahead of his upcoming bout, the British star is in news for an infamous encounter with University students. After threatening the students, Joshua opened up first time on the social media platform.

The 32-year-old star boxer took to Instagram and shared two pictures. He added in the caption, “Lord Knows I try.”

Both pictures were the same but captured on camera in different poses. The first one displayed Joshua was well dressed and smiling. He was wearing a white T-shirt with a blue blazer and a golden necklace around his neck, catching the glimpse of his fans. The second picture displayed Joshua with an intense face.

What happened between Anthony Joshua and the students of the University?

A video of AJ went viral on social media platforms in which Joshua appeared to threaten a student. Recently, the two-time heavyweight champ went to Loughborough University. Where students booed and allegedly teased him for not locking horns with the reigning WBC and the Ring Magazine heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

However, it did not sit well with the former champ, and he took a bold step that left the students in utter silence.

In a threatening tone, Joshua warned them. He said, “Remember you’re running your mouth because none of you will like it when I start cracking your glass jaws.”

Furthermore, he added, “When your jaws start breaking and people start chasing you out of this uni, none of you will like it. Watch your mouth because you don’t know who you’re talking to sometimes. All that public eye b*******, I ain’t into all that.”

Notably, the probable fight between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury is the most talked-about British heavyweight blockbuster. Despite various attempts, the fight could not materialize. As of now, it seems near impossible as Fury has announced his retirement.
