Joshua has now replied to ‘The Gypsy King’. In a chat with Fighthype.com, the 24-1 boxer said, “Don’t think that’s the right mindset to have. I’ll wait… I’ll wait until the end of the year before I said anything like that.” 

Joshua then explained that it’s a fight everyone, including the promoters, fans, and TV networks want. Therefore, he disagreed with Fury giving everyone a deadline to get the bout done. Thus, Joshua showed he is willing to be patient for everything to get sorted out.

With his comments, ‘AJ’ slammed Fury for his impatience and showed his professionalism. The boxer made no secret of his trust in his team and explained the reason behind his patience.

He said, “If people are clearly working on something and they’re asking you for a little bit of extra time, if you want the job done, if you want a kind of an end result, you’re going to have to say no problem.”

This comment exhibits how much the Englishman rates the effort of those working behind the scenes to get this booking over the line. A fight like this is difficult to organize in normal times and has only gotten harder with the implications of COVID-19.
