Heavyweight stalwarts and current champions, Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua are going at each other once again. This time, they are adding a little cheek to it.

Both the pugilists are on the verge of materializing an in-ring encounter with each other after Joshua gets past Kubrat Pulev. So, they aren’t delaying in adding the other to the mix, as Joshua recently claimed of ‘playing’ with Fury.

A few days ago, Anthony Joshua advised Tyson Fury to join Matchroom Promotion. He also threw lucrative offerings and promised to turn ‘The Gypsy King’ into an even bigger superstar.

Well, Fury snubbed the offers and vowed to be the people’s champ and didn’t feel the need to join a different promotion to enhance his image.

Fury turned to Twitter and wrote, “Anthony Joshua has it ever dawned on you I’m not interested in being a superstar, or famous, I’m a fighting man & only interested in smashing your face in, u keep the stardom, I’ll stay real.

“You big dosser. has it ever dawned on you I’m not interested in being a superstar, or famous. I’m a fighting man & only interested in smashing your face in, u keep the stardom, I’ll stay real.”

Joshua has noted it and responded in his own style. He didn’t demean ‘The Gypsy King’ but continued to turn the tale with twists.

Anthony Joshua fires back on social media

Reporter Michael Benson took to Twitter to reveal AJ’s response and sent several fight fans into a frenzy.

The unified champion claimed that he was playing with Fury and said, “It was just tongue in cheek, I was just playing with Tyson Fury. He nibbled! He couldn’t handle it!”

Meanwhile, Joshua will defend his belts in a 12-round main-event clash against Kubrat Pulev on December 12th. If he bags the win, it clearly opens a gateway for the title unification fight against WBC champion Tyson Fury.

Fury has also sought the fight that further validates the ongoing feud. It will be the biggest British heavyweight showdown ever between two of the best elites from the modern era.

While they have already intensified their relationship, only an in-ring collision can conclude the rivalry now.
