Speaking on The Pug and Copp Boxing Show, Joshua gave a complete analysis of Pulev. He said, “Complete technical fighter. He’s got the basics and foundations down to a ‘T’. I feel, due to the fact that he’s fighting for the heavyweight championship of the world, he wants to throw me out of my throne.”

This suggested that he expects the Bulgarian to come for a brawl.

‘AJ’ explained, “He’ll do anything to try and bully me out of my position… That’s his mindset because I had a slip-up in June… June 1st in New York, so he’s probably living off that momentum, but as I said, he’s very good.”

This gives fans the idea that he will not repeat his mistakes from the first Andy Ruiz Jr fight, and he will hold his opponent in high regard.
