Oscar De La Hoya made steady statements while he was in a relationship with Shanna Moakler. Back in the late 1990s, De La Hoya was turning into a giant boxing star and Moakler was leveraging her career in the entertainment world. Both of them saw a steep rise in their careers with time, and no one expected them to cross paths at any stage in their careers.
But the pair were destined to meet, and they began dating each other in 1997.
