If not anything else, Jake Paul is a great entrepreneur and marketer. One of his latest business ventures is Betr, a sports betting app and media company. How is it different from others? Rather than betting on an entire game, this app allows the user to place micro bets, as in bets on the next shot or the next pass. But the app itself can’t help someone make money when they make the wrong decision. And that’s exactly what happened to Jake Paul when he offered $500,000 to Israel Adesanya.

In a previous Instagram video from Jake’s betting company, Betr, he sent a lucrative deal to ‘Izzy.’ Jake wanted ‘The Last Stylebender’ to hit Sean Strickland with a spinning back fist. But Israel Adesanya ended up losing the fight, leaving Jake’s lineup in ruins.

Jake Paul reacts to his crushed Betr lineup

Jake’s sports betting app, Betr, posted a video update to the previous $500,000 offer video. In this new video, Jake mutters “What the f**k” while nodding his head in disappointment. The reason behind it is Adesanya’s loss against Strickland. However, Adesanya wasn’t the only one Jake placed a bet on. Jake also bet on the Cleveland Browns winning, which they did.

So, he must have recouped all the losses back through his wins from the Cleveland Browns. Also, Jake is a marketing genius; he probably made all the money back from the videos themselves. Not to mention the revenue Betr would generate through lost bets from other users of the app. But what is this chatter about Jake switching his favorite football teams?

The social media star turned-boxer is no stranger to creating elaborate marketing stunts. And this might very well be one of them. A report from Marca seems to suggest the same. In the report, the author points out that Jake signed a contract with the Cleveland Browns to partner with their social media team. However, the chances of the switch being genuine are always there. It depends on how someone looks at it.

Even though Adesanya lost the fight while ruining Jake’s lineup, Jake’s sports betting app, on the other hand, won. What are your thoughts on the app? Are you betting on anything?
