Eddie Hearn claimed that if this fight happens, the outcome wouldn’t be great for Fury. He doesn’t believe Fury has what it takes to defeat Paul. He said, “Terrible for Tommy Fury if he can’t beat Jake Paul. But I don’t think he can beat Jake Paul.” Recently Hearn has called Paul an “average” boxer which the YouTuber-turned-boxer did not appreciate.

However, the British promoter did not mean to disrespect him. In this interview, he elaborated, “I don’t mean that disrespectfully by the way there’s a lot of average boxers. Average is not bad, and it’s not good so I said to Jake Paul I actually think it’s a compliment to you I’m not saying you are a terrible boxer. I’m just saying you’re not very good and same advice to Tommy Fury.”
