You don’t associate Jake Paul with someone to talk about the NFL. However, with his partnership with Betr, a fantasy betting app, there was no way that ‘The Problem Child’ would not have tried his luck during Super Bowl LIX.

Well, it looked like wagering against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs was the way to go for Super Bowl LIX. Earlier today, Floyd Mayweather posted his whopping six-figure profit by putting his money on the Eagles. However, even before Mayweather, it was Jake Paul, who wagered against the Chiefs in his Betr picks and promised an outrageous gift to the potential MVP.

Jake Paul’s immaculate prediction

‘El Gallo’ is a huge Mahomes and Chiefs fan. He has constantly supported the team and during his early days of association with Betr, he used to pick the Kansas’ quarterback constantly in his lineups. However, even he knows that the 2024 season of Mahomes and Chiefs hasn’t been up to par. The team had to fight and crawl their way to their third AFC trophy, but three-peating the Lombardi trophy is a different beast.

A few hours before the Super Bowl, Paul took to his ‘X’ to reveal his “official KC/PHI prediction… ” He wrote, “I love Mahomes & Kelce. I want the Chiefs to win, but I don’t know how they stop the run,” and claimed the final score to be “37-31 Eagles 🦅.” While ‘The Problem Child’ predicted the winner correctly, the final scoreline was a lot more one-sided than he predicted. While the exact amount that the Dorado native wagered is not revealed, the screengrab showed a 5X multiplier reward. This means that if Paul had put in a decent amount, the reward would have been extremely sensational.

As Paul stated, Mahomes and the Chiefs were unable to stop the undefeated run of the Eagles as Philadelphia won the match 40-22 and avenged their 2023 loss. Super Bowl LIX was extremely lucky for the former YouTuber, as he not only won the wager but was also able to save his Ferrari.

A special reward for the MVP

After revealing his Betr picks to everyone, ‘El Gallo’ took to his Instagram and called Eagles running back Saquon Barkley in a now-deleted video to carry his team through the final stage. Apart from the motivational message, he put out a tempting reward for Barkley under one condition.

Jake Paul declared, “This is a message for Saquon Barkley and Saquon Barkley only. If you win the Super Bowl MVP, I think you can do it, brother. Have so much love for you. You’ve been dominating all my Betr Picks Lineups this whole season. I will give you one of my Ferraris if you win Super Bowl MVP. Come on, baby.”

Barkley had a stellar run in the 2024 season and was undoubtedly a contender for the MVP. However, things ended pretty sweetly for Paul, as despite Barkley’s decent performance in the finals, Jalen Hurts was the MVP. The quarterback finished with 72 yards rushing. And despite it being a great performance, it was nowhere near the level he has shown in the season.

The elite running back posted seven touchdown runs of 60-plus yards this season. And with his figures in the Super Bowl, he broke the single-season rushing record of 2,476 yards set by Terrell Davis previously and finished the season with 2,504 total yards and 18 rushing touchdowns.

However, it won’t be wrong to say that Jake Paul was the real winner on Sunday. He not only won 5 times the amount he put in but was also able to save his Ferrari as Jalen Hurts had a career-defining performance. Who was your pick as MVP in the Super Bowl? Let us know your thoughts down below.
