‘Be a Man & Take Responsibility’: Chris Eubank Jr. Gives Conor Nigel Benn Reality Check for Making Absurd Remarks After Being Caught Doping

It’s been nearly 3 months since Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Nigel Benn‘s fight was canceled as Benn failed a drug test done by Voluntary Anti-Doping Association or VADA. Recently Chris Eubank Jr. posted a video on Twitter regarding that and gave some advice to Benn to get out of this situation. The matter is in the news again, and Eubank gave some tips to Benn on how he can be out of trouble. It may be a reply to Benn’s Twitter post that surfaced some days ago and he stated his innocence. Eubank also hinted that the anticipated fight may happen in the future.

Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn were said to enter the ring but the problem started when the latter got identified for using an illegal substance by VADA and later BBBofC or the British Boxing Board of Control halted the match. But recently Benn claimed that his team has proved his innocence.

What did Conor Nigel Benn say?

Conor Benn was caught using an illegal substance called Clomifene, which is a fertility drug known to increase testosterone. But after that Benn is hellbent on proving that it’s a false claim. Recently he posted a long story on Twitter about it and expressed how bad the time is for him.

He said, “I’ve stayed in the gym and continue to work extremely hard and staying positive that my innocence will be proven and the truth will come out.” He added, “My team has proven my innocence and I won’t be commenting further due to confidentiality.”

In the post, he stated he would be the world champion. 

 With the drug issue, his image has been damaged a lot, and he tried to recover some of it through the post. But, is it enough to convince fans? Maybe he is right but his opponent, Chris Eubank Jr. thinks it will not work until he comes out and take responsibility.

In reply to that, Chris Eubank gave some tips to get out of that trouble.

He said, “if your team have proved your innocence, you have to go out there, you’d have been proud by now. Innocent people don’t go and hiding for 3 months, an apology is all that you need to give to the fans.”

He also added with a cheeky smile, “Nothing else is gonna cut it, you have to be the bad guy now. You gonna have to be like me what I was for 10 years. You gonna have to accept the trolls”. He also told him to be a real man and take responsibility.

Will Benn listen to Eubank Jr. to get out of trouble? Maybe he will listen. But one thing is for sure, he has to go the extra mile to prove that. Eubank said that the proposed fight will happen and Benn strongly claimed that he would come back in 2023 and will be the World Champion. It makes sense that something amazing is going to happen in 2023.
