WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, was in talks with the unified heavyweight champion, Oleksandr Usyk, for an undisputed showdown. It was also speculated to take place on April 29, 2023. However, much to the dismay of the boxing community, it was reported that the talks for the Fury vs Usyk fight had fallen through. Fans even blamed it on the many clauses put forward by Fury. Meanwhile, it looks like boxing promoter, Eddie Hearn, has a new series of matchups for Fury and Usyk.
If Fury v Usyk doesn’t get made..and AJ gets past Franklin..Fury v AJ, Wilder v Usyk – winner v winner for Undisputed 😅

In a tweet, Hearn proposed a fight between Fury and Anthony Joshua. And another bout pitting Usyk against Deontay Wilder. He further suggested pitting the winners against each other for an undisputed showdown.
There were previously speculations about a Joshua vs Fury showdown. But, the talks never materialized.
Joshua, on the other hand, had a few choice words to say about Fury vs Usyk not reaching fruition. He said, “Look at all the sh*t they are going through now with Usyk. It’s just crazy. I don’t publicize things so it’s actually good that people are starting to see what goes on in negotiations. It’s good that they can actually see the shit that [boxers such as Usyk] have got to put up with to make a fight. “
Notably, Joshua had previously fought Usyk twice, with Usyk emerging as the victor both times.
Fans were not sure about the matchups for Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk
While Hearn’s suggested matchups might pave the way for some exciting fights. It looks like fans don’t share the same enthusiasm. In fact, a lot of them took to social media to share their thoughts on the same.
I love boxing, but what I really dislike about it at the same time is the fact there's rarely any fights where the top dogs fight both in their prime when the fans want to see it. These fights should be made above anything else. Fury v Usyk, Spence v Crawford etc

I’d believe this if any of you boys actually got decent fights made these days. Fast becoming a bloody circus 😴

Would have sound crazy to write this 12 months ago but:
Would fury actually take the AJ fight without trying to bully AJ into a short training camp/ some crap terms?
I am not sure anymore.
