The heavyweight boxing legend Mike Tyson once revealed the reason his kids poked fun at him. Although ‘Iron’ is among the most famous athletes on the planet, his kids believe he is not big as singer Beyonce or NBA legend Magic Johnson.

Tyson is known for being one of the ‘baddest men’ on the planet. He is a vicious human being when inside the boxing ring. However, outside of it, the heavyweight boxer is an affectionate father of six children: Mikey Lorna, Rayna, Amir, Miguel, Milan, and Morocco.

Ever since his retirement, Tyson has been close to his children and often spent time with them. Hence, he has a good relationship with them. However, this didn’t stop his kids from jokingly taunting their father.

In talks with Canelo Alvarez, Tyson revealed why his kids made fun of him. He said, “My kids think I’m such a d***! So, my kids will go like this, out of the blue, ‘Magic Johnson is bigger than you dad, he’s more popular than you’. I go, ‘What the f***? Get out of here”

“My daughter says, ‘Beyonce’s bigger than you too’. I’m like, ‘Where’s this coming from?’ And this is my daughter, ‘And I know you don’t think you’re fyler than Michael Jackson or Prince,” Tyson added.

“Where is this coming from! You know, they’re always trying to bust my chops! They say I get all this attention and don’t know why. They should be on Magic Johnson, Magic Johnson is bigger than you. My kids will say that!” Tyson concluded.

Unlike many other professional boxers, 56-year-old Tyson had a very rough beginning. He had to face many adversities during his childhood. However, Tyson used these to fuel his boxing career.

‘Iron’ was one of the most dominant and feared boxers during his time. However, it boosted his ego a lot. And in a recent episode of the Hotboxin podcast, Tyson revealed how this took control of his mind.

However, just like many other adversities in his life, Tyson overcame his ego. Furthermore, despite a devastating setback in his life, ‘Iron’ bounced back and changed into a better person.
