Following the fight, Showtime did not release the PPV numbers. However, just days later, Woodley eliminated the mystery surrounding the same and stated that the fight was the highest selling PPV for 2021.

In an Instagram live, Tyron ‘The Chosen One’ Woodley said, “Hey, could I say something? Pay-per-view doing some sh*t right now, I promise you. I told you, you motherf**kers just laughed at me. Go back to my phone, write in Instagram.”

“I said this would be the biggest pay-per-view of the year… We gonna run it back, and when we do, we going for the record the next time. We are right now, right underneath Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul for PPV. If we go over that number, it’s gonna be the 5th highest PPV in the history of PPVs.”

The Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather vs Logan Paul fight generated over one million PPV buys on the Showtime network, making it one of the highest PPV buys in the history of PPVs. Based on Woodley’s comments, this would mean that the Jake ‘The Problem Child’ Paul vs Tyron Woodley fight sold around (slightly lesser) the same number of PPV buys.

Jake Paul states conditions for the rematch with Tyron Woodley

After their eight-round fight on Sunday, in the post-fight interview, Woodley immediately demanded a rematch. As Tyron Woodley felt he won the fight, he believed he deserved another chance since no one else would be able to sell the fight like him.

Jake Paul agreed to the rematch on one bizarre condition, stating Woodley would have to get an ‘I Love Jake Paul’ tattoo on his body and post it on his Instagram. ‘The Chosen One’ agreed and the two fighters shook on it with the entire world watching.
