Floyd Mayweather, the former five-weight division champ is a father to four children and had a long list of girlfriends and serious relationships in the past. However, he never married.

He has his own school of thought on the institution of marriage that kept him away from involving in this business of life. On Friday, October 21, ‘The Pretty Boy’ took to Instagram and put forth the reason why he is not married.

After taking retirement from the sport in 2017, Mayweather underwent a drastic change. He is now a more mature man, who often entertains real-life questions. Recently, he took to social media and dropped a very thoughtful post.

The post read, “Everybody always asks me when am I getting married and why am I not married? I’m not married for the same reason the divorce rate is so high. The only person I will truly trust is myself. Therefore it eliminates disappointment.”

In the caption, he mentioned, “I have nothing against people who are married, these are just my personal beliefs. What are your thoughts on marriage?”

The upcoming exhibition of Floyd Mayweather

The former undefeated champ has taken up an unexpected challenge. However, he is going to square off with the YouTube star Deji on November 13 at Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai.

This is going to be the third exhibition of the Mayweather this year. The Global Titans world series has a grand plan for the 45-year-old. Under their wings, he fought twice this year earlier. One in Abu Dhabi against Don Moore and the second against Mikaru Asakura in Japan. Both events turned out to be a big success.
