Over the past few days, dark clouds surrounded the enigmatic contest between Billy Joe Saunders and Canelo Alvarez. Saunders’ team wanted to stage this fight in a 24 ft ring instead of a 20 ft ring. In fact, Billy Joe Saunders’ father even pressed on pulling from this fight if they don’t get the requisite ring size. But it seems the pertaining dispute is now resolved, and the fight is back on track.

Recently, Michael Benson on his official Twitter handle shared Saunders’ take on this entire scenario.

In this video, ‘Superb’ said, “People just wanna say, the issue is sorted because obviously as you can see, I tagged Eddie Hearn and Canelo in the last video and the ring is not a problem. So thumbs are up. Chilling back, watching a few films and Eddie, get the ring in mate,”

Canelo Alvarez vs Billy Joe Saunders is one extremely important bout at the super-middleweight roster. This fight has every ability to shape up the division, thus open the pathway for more such exuberant fights.
