Billy Joe Saunders Reacts To Eddie Hearn’s Notion on Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant Fight

Billy Joe Saunders will enter the ring on May 8 for the toughest battle of his life. The Brit will headline the main event alongside Canelo Alvarez for a massive title unification fight. The winner of this contest will directly set himself up for an undisputed super-middleweight title-clash against Caleb Plant.

Recently, Billy Joe Saunders took a healthy jibe at his promoter, Eddie Hearn, who was already discussing a fight between Canelo and Plant.

Michael Benson reported this on Twitter by sharing Saunders’ response to Hearn’s notions.

Saunders shared a news piece on his Instagram story, wherein it mentioned Hearn being in talks with Caleb Plant’s corner for staging the Alvarez vs Plant fight if the Mexican gets past Saunders.

‘Be a good fight that,” ‘Superb’ wrote on his story.

Billy Joe Saunders is extremely thrilled to fight out Canelo Alvarez. This fight carries immense hype and responsibilities. Also, it is the biggest fight in Saunders’s decorated boxing career. He’s keen to put his brilliance and undefeated track record in front of Alvarez.

Saunders and Canelo both aspire to become the undisputed super-middleweight champ. But only one among the two can set himself up for an undisputed clash with the Nashville native Caleb Plant.

On May 8, ‘Superb’ will look forward to employing his A-game against Alvarez and claim a terrific win to move ahead.

Can Billy Joe Saunders end Canelo Alvarez’s winning streak?

Canelo Alvarez hasn’t scored a loss ever since he lost to Floyd Mayweather. He’s the undeniable pound-for-pound king of boxing, having a solid resume to showcase.

Every division he’s stepped in, he’s cemented himself as the champion. Moving into a fight with Billy Joe Saunders, Alvarez will come with a purpose. And Saunders will have to tackle the same anyhow.
