Rapper Blueface and his girlfriend Chrisean Rock are awaiting the arrival of their new baby. However, they have decided to ignore a baby name suggestion given to them by boxing legend Mike Tyson. Tyson, who is known for his outspoken personality, had suggested a hilarious name for the couple’s unborn child. However, the rapper and his girlfriend have decided to go in a different direction.

In the recent episode of his podcast Hotboxin’, the former two-time heavyweight champion decided to get personal with his guest. He asked Rock whether their baby was a boy or girl after she revealed that she was pregnant. This is when he asked if they had chosen a name for the child

Mike Tyson suggests a name for Blueface and Chrisean Rock’s child

Rocks revealed that the child will either be named after her or Blueface. However, Tyson would then suggest the name “Babyface” for their child. This might have been an attempt by Tyson to make a play at Blueface’s name. However, he might have mixed the name with a well-known rapper who goes by the name Babyface.

While Tyson’s suggestion may have been well-intentioned, it’s understandable why the couple chose not to take his advice. Naming a child after a famous person can be a tricky proposition, as it can set expectations for the child and lead to unwanted attention. Moreover, there are already a couple of names that Blueface and Rock have in mind for their child.

Blueface and Chrisean Rock reveal their name picks

In a recent interview with TMZ, Blueface and Chrisean Rock discussed potential baby names for their child. Although Blueface jokingly suggested “Blueface baby,” Rock quickly rejected the idea. However, the couple did mention that they were considering the names “Royal Blue” or “Blue Royal”.

It can be said with certainty that the focus of Blueface will be more on providing for the child rather than picking a name. Interestingly, he has been looking to transition into boxing also challenging rappers Rick Ross and Meek Mill for a fight, which could lead to a potential payday. Ultimately, the decision of a child’s name should be carefully considered to ensure that it will serve them well throughout their life.
