Bob Arum Calls Eddie Hearn’s Comparison of Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua “Pretty Stupid”

Bob Arum has called Eddie Hearn’s comparison of Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua’s resume ‘pretty stupid’. Earlier, Hearn had stated that Joshua’s resume was better than that of Tyson Fury.
Seems like the comments have not gone down well with the Top Rank’s promoter who rained down on Hearn for his comments.
Bob Arum responds to Eddie Hearn saying Anthony Joshua's record is better than Tyson Fury's: "To compare résumés is pretty stupid. It's clear that Fury fought Klitschko when Klitschko was champion. Joshua fought Klitschko after Klitschko had been sort of semi-retired." [@IFLTV]

Earlier, Hearn had stated that it makes him laugh when people say that Fury has fought better opponents than AJ.
“Maybe I am seeing something other people don’t. I mean, Dillian Whyte, Dominic Breazeale, Wladimir Klitschko, Joseph Parker, Carlos Takam, Alexander Povetkin, Andy Ruiz, and Kubrat Pulev, these are consecutive fights.” Hearn added.
“It’s laughable when you compare the two resumes. AJ has constantly proved that he will fight all-comers, mandatory challenges, unified champions, future Hall of Famers, anybody.”
It’s a debate that boxing fans will continue to argue about. However, there’s more to both the boxers’ resume than what meets the eye.
It’s hard not to agree with Bob Arum. Joshua fought a semi-retired Wladimir Klitschko who eventually fought his retirement fight against AJ back in April 2017. Additionally, it was the Ukrainian boxer’s return to the ring after a gap of almost 2 years.
Who has the better resume between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury?
On the other side, Fury dethroned Klitschko to become the first boxer to hold the unified strap after more than a decade. The Gypsy King also became the first boxer to hand the former champion a loss after almost 15 years.
Meanwhile, Fury’s absence from the ring soon after that win took away a major chunk of what could have been a spectacular run as the unified heavyweight champion. Be that as it may, Fury returned with flying colors after a 3-year-long hiatus from professional boxing.

Fury’s record is no less exciting with multiple wins over the likes of Derek Chisora, Steve Cunningham, and recently against the then-undefeated Deontay Wilder early this year. Needless to say, both the boxers are exceptional at what they do.
Fury remains undefeated inside the boxing ring. Meanwhile, Joshua has a sole loss in his boxing career, which came against Andy Ruiz Jr. However, AJ avenged the loss with an impressive unanimous decision win over Ruiz in the rematch.
