WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury appears to be looking for a return date but cannot set his sight on one contender. The current scenario offers him various options to look at and it’s unclear who will make it against ‘The Gypsy King’. After Deontay Wilder’s failed attempt at the WBC strap, Interim champion Dillian Whyte looks the most valid name for Fury’s in-ring stint.
However, Whyte and WBC don’t seem to be under similar terms and it can eradicate ‘The Body Snatcher’ from the race. That said, Fury may not remain out of action for very long. The Briton star is still willing to test himself against Dillian Whyte for the WBC belt. But if that doesn’t happen, Fury will look at other contenders.

“Frank [Warren] and I are determined to come to him with an opponent that’s acceptable and we’d love to do that fight in Cardiff.”
“Andy Ruiz Jr is a possibility.”
“Joseph Parker I see had a good victory over Derek Chisora – that could be a possibility.”
“And we’re looking at a couple of other names that might be appropriate.”
Tyson Fury is ready for anyone and everyone
After two back-to-back wins against Deontay Wilder, Fury is undoubtedly the best heavyweight of this era unless someone breaks his winning streak. Oleksandr Usyk has a high chance of landing the upset. But the Ukrainian star has a rematch setup with Anthony Joshua and may not turn head towards Tyson Fury soon. Well, Fury won’t run out of a viable name.

From Andy Ruiz Jr. to Joseph Parker, several elite fighters are waiting to get a shot at the world championship scenario. In that case, Tyson Fury can help them enter the ring. Fury will remain the favorite against any of the heavyweight contenders. Hence, he seems to be in a safe position to make the calls at will. While Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua are also looking to finish the chapter of their rivalry, an undisputed title fight will be relevant in the heavyweight division again.
