Bob Arum Says Oleksandr Usyk Beating Anthony Joshua Against His ‘Economic Interest’

Anthony Joshua has all the features to tout his superiority over Oleksandr Usyk and can rightly become the first man to beat the Ukrainian elite. On winning the show, it will open the doors to an undisputed fight for all four world titles. A Fury-Joshua collision could result in a windfall at the box office.

The other contenders in Usyk and Wilder can also bring lucrative attention. However, this attention may not be anywhere near an All-English clash between Fury and Joshua. Hence, the Top Rank Kingpin has commented on the upcoming Usk vs Joshua fight, just to reveal how his ‘economic interest’ and preview of the matchup differs.

In a chat with Sky Sports, Bob Arum said, “Usyk is a friend of mine because he is Vasiliy Lomachenko’s friend. He is a terrific guy, funny, articulate and smart.”

“It is against my economic interest, but I will be rooting for him in the fight! I just can’t help myself.”
