The WBO welterweight king, Terence Crawford, is finally set to return to the ring for a mighty 12-round bout. The ‘Bud’ hasn’t competed professionally since November 2020, but it seems his comeback fight will be worth the wait.
His promoter, Bob Arum, recently spoke to Barbershop Conversations on Crawford’s upcoming bout.

Crawford is one of the biggest fighters in Arum’s Top Rank Promotions. He brings in countless eyeballs through all his fights. And consequently, Arum now wishes to align the latter with a worthy opponent.

A few weeks back, Arum claimed that he’ll look to align the Filippino Senator Manny Pacquiao or Shawn Porter with Crawford in his next outing.
Looking at a wider picture of the welterweight division, it seems Danny Garcia, Shawn Porter, and Manny Pacquiao might be at the top of the contention to confront Terence Crawford.
Either of them will matchup exuberantly well against the undefeated welterweight champ. But the Top Rank supremo had a substantial inclination towards the ‘Pacman’ vs Crawford fight. However, if this matchup doesn’t come through, he will then look for any other stout contender for ‘Bud’.
Terence Crawford vs Manny Pacquiao – a classic welterweight matchup
Crawford and Pacquiao both rank among the top welterweights of this generation. The boxing fraternity has seen the capabilities of both these pugilists ever since their first stepping to the ring.

Also, ‘Pacman’ might unquestionably be in the final stepping of his career and he will look forward to taking any and every magnetic challenge on his way.
The Pacquiao vs Crawford fight will not only be important to Pacquiao but also Crawford, who wishes to leave a legacy behind.
