The renowned boxing promoter, Bob Arum, made a big statement this week. According to him, the fight between the two-time heavyweight champion Tyson fury and the UFC heavyweight titleholder Francis Ngannou will make new records if it turns into a reality.

Recently, he sat down on ‘Fight Hub TV’ and talked about the upcoming British Blockbuster between ‘The Gypsy King’ and WBC mandatory challenger, Dillian Whyte. While interacting, he opened up on the most speculated fight between the UFC heavyweight champion and the Boxing heavyweight champion.

Tyson Fury‘s promoter said, “I think absolutely we’d want that to happen. Why not? That would be a great thing to happen. I think the MMA guy has ACL that’s been operated on, so he’ll be ready next year and that fight would do absolutely tremendous business.”

Further, Arum added that UFC chairperson Dana White’s involvement will enhance the hype for the fight.

He said, “If he has a contract still with the UFC, which I don’t know whether he does or doesn’t. You know to do it in conjunction with Dana White would add to the drama and the momentum of that fight would do record kind of numbers.”

However, if this fight lands, then it will undoubtedly become an epic rumble. For the uninitiated, this is not the first time when a UFC warrior and boxing champ are in talks for the fight. Prior to this probable bout, the undefeated stalwart Floyd Mayweather and the UFC megastar Conor McGregor had clashed in 2017.
