Oleksandr Usyk, on September 25, scored the biggest win of his career against the stout heavyweight Anthony Joshua. The Ukrainian star dethroned the Brit and claimed his WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO heavyweight titles. Now that Usyk sits atop of this division, boxing purists and fans are already keen to see him go up against the likes of Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder.
Recently, Fury’s US promoter and Top Rank boss, Bob Arum, weighed in on the potential Usyk vs Fury/Wilder matchup.
Speaking to iFL TV, he said, “That will be an additional defeat on Joshua’s record and prevent him from what I think would be a massive fight and the way it should be against the unified champion. Usyk fights Tyson Fury or Wilder if and fight the winner and then we’re into something that the public can make sense of.”

However, if he beats the hard-hitting heavyweight again, needless to say, ‘The Cat’ will be in a position to fight the likes of Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder, and more.
