Humans are creatures that can live consuming vegetables and fruits. Although it is recommended that people eat a little meat, many people in this world rely on eating only plant-based foods in their diets and can survive as well as thrive on them. However, in the cases of animals, this may not be true as they are wild creatures trapped by their biologies and a prisoner to the food chain.

This naturally makes some animals carnivores who are only really on meat. This includes tigers, wolves, lions, and snakes. However, humans are omnivores who eat both plant and animal-based foods. Like humans, dogs are also omnivores who can eat both plants as well as animals. However, while a dog can survive on a vegetarian diet it tends to prefer meat to deliver essential proteins lacking in fruits and vegetables. Moreover, this was exactly the case when a vegetarian dog ate meat on live television.

Video of vegetarians eating meat goes viral on the internet

A video of a ‘vegetarian dog’ went viral on the internet recently. In the video, the dog’s veganism is tested as two sets of food are placed in front of it. One was filled with vegetables while the other one was filled with meat. Although the owner of the dog was confident that it would choose the bowl containing the vegetables, this was certainly not the case.

The dog chose the meat and feasted on it instead of eating the bowl of vegetables. This came as shock to the owner but not to the host or audiences who saw the animal stick to his natural intuition. This was not all as IBF flyweight champion Sunny Edwards also reacted to this video.

Sunny Edwards reacts to ‘vegetarian dog’ eating meat

The IBF champion shared the video on his social media handle and could not contain his laughter. He claimed that the dog will at least have the proper nutrition it requires to thrive. “Hahahahahahahahahah least the dog can get proper nutrition now” he wrote.

Edwards has become notorious for reacting to viral videos on the internet. The IBF champion last defended his title against Felix Alvarado back in November.

However, it seems that he might take some time off from the sport and relax, reacting to viral videos until he is ready to go again.
