Boxing Fan Shares Frightening Experience Suffered in Recent Airplane Emergency Landing

YouTuber turned boxer Olajide Olayinka Williams “JJ” Olatunji, AKA KSI, has been making waves in the boxing world with Misfits Boxing. KSI, who is also a rapper, is all set to bring in the latest addition to the series with Misfits 005. The event will take place at the Telford International Centre on March 4, 2023. While fans are undoubtedly anticipating a series of interesting matchups inside the ring. There was a rather dangerous incident outside the ring, which was connected to this fight card.

A Twitter user named Cristian Mundo tweeted, showing the damage inside his plane. And mentioned that the flight had to make an emergency landing due to a storm. Moreover, the user also added that he was on his way to attend Misfits 005.

Notably, the user was a passenger on Lufthansa Flight 469 traveling from Austin to Frankfurt. The plane hit a damaging wave of turbulence at 37,000 feet and plummeted while the ‘no-seatbelt’ sign was on. Talking about the incident, a passenger told CNN, “It was like unexpectedly free-falling for five seconds off the top of a rollercoaster. Plates and glassware were up at the ceiling. And my purse from the floor flew behind me to the right.”

It was also reported that seven passengers were hospitalized due to injuries.

The upcoming Misfits 005 fight card

The Misfits series has given some of the most interesting matchups in Influencer Boxing. It can even be argued that this series has instilled a love for the sport in many non-boxing aficionados.

Misfits 005 will see social media personalities Jay Swingler and Nicholai Perrett flagging off the main card. Another interesting matchup will be between Onlyfans star Astrid Wett and AJ Bunker.

Additionally, it will even feature a WWE-style tag team match, where Luis Pineda and BDave will team up and face Stromedy and Austin Sprinz. It sure looks like KSI has a treat prepared for fans.
