Last Friday, Oscar Valdez locked horns with Robson Conceicao for his WBC super-featherweight title defense. The Mexican boxing star was already in the news for consuming a banned substance, and he received immense backlash for the same. But despite all the adversities, Valdez edged over his nemesis to claim a unanimous decision victory. However, this win didn’t come easily as he had to dig in real deep to retain his WBC strap.
