Boxing is a violent sport. It is natural for someone to be fearful of getting punched in the face for a living. Though, the former light-welterweight champion, Amir Khan, thinks that there are far more petrifying things in the world. Khan retired from the sport of boxing last year but is still in the public limelight. Not to mention, he has dabbled in various vocations apart from boxing.

Moreover, he has also been featured as a contestant in the British reality show, “I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here” in which a group of celebrities live together in extreme conditions. Khan revealed his “fiercest opponent” to date, and no it isn’t a professional boxer.

What does Amir Khan fear the most?

In the reality show, each contestant has to take on a set of different challenges. At times, it may include that the contestant has to be in a room full of snakes or have spiders crawl on them. Khan went through the same experience in his reality show; revealing that being around spiders and the snake is way more scarier than boxing.

@imaCelebrity‘s Instagram page revealed a clip of Khan sharing a ‘Different Kind of Fear’. The caption of the post stated, “Amir tells Scarlett about his fiercest opponent”

He stated, “I rather get punched in the face than grab a snake or a spider crawling on my back. Honestly, it is a crazy different type of fear. He adds, “Getting punched is what I have been doing all my life and that wouldn’t scare me a bit but being in a room with some snakes.”

Moreover, in the same celebrity show, Amir confessed that he spent an enormous amount of money on his wedding which he didn’t even enjoy.

In 2013, Khan  revealeed that he spent over a million dollars on his wedding.  In the reality show, back in 2017, Khan stated, “I had 4000 people at my wedding. It’s family and friends. Everyone likes to be there. Everyone wants big groups to come.”
