The praises came in full swing on Twitter as some fans called him “the best fighter in the world.”

However, things don’t look so good for Donaire, as this brutal knockout has left fans wanting the Filipino to hang the gloves up as one fan claims “his age caught up” to him.

Unsurprisingly, most fans acknowledge Inoue should be very high on the pound-for-pound list. Some went as far as calling him the No. 1.

Finally, one individual took it to a whole new level as he boldly claimed Inoue can knock out the WBC and lineal heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, in the 1st round.

Nevertheless, the Japanese fighter really took the fight to Donaire, and the veteran failed to conquer him. However, only time will tell what will follow for the two fighters.

What’s next for Naoya Inoue?

After attaining the WBC bantamweight title from Donaire, the Monster will have his eyes set on becoming the undisputed bantamweight champion. However, to achieve this feat, he will have to defeat the WBO champion, Paul Butler.
