To give fans insights leading up to a boxing fight, these journalists leave no stone unturned, and their work earns much praise from the boxing community. But, sometimes, things can get too far for boxing reporters.
Recently, a British boxing reporter had a near-death experience in Saudi Arabia ahead of the bout between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury. He took it to Twitter to share the horrific news which has left fans pouring in heartfelt messages.

An experience to remember in Saudi Arabia
Fred Beck is a British boxing journalist based out of London. He took to Twitter to share his near-death experience with his followers when Beck was going to someplace in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, when his car driver drove into another oncoming car. This is Beck’s “first near-death experience,” as he described it in the tweet. The two cars involved in the accident incurred some damage but nothing too severe.

Fortunately, Beck incurred no damage from the accident and is healthy. He wrote, “Had my first near-death experience today in Saudi Arabia when my driver drove straight into an oncoming car, another day at the office I guess….” Beck was present at the weigh-in of Fury and Paul and was able to talk to Paul afterward.

Fred Beck has more than 70,000 subscribers on his Youtube channel named ‘Fred talks fighting,’ and he interviews personalities from the boxing world. Beck recently uploaded his interview with Logan Paul ahead of ‘the Problem child’ and ‘Tommy TNT’ fight.
Notably, ‘The Maverick’, also called Tommy Fury “mad cute”. Although, he also stated that he’s not a fan of his boxing, but admires him as a reality TV star.
