Bob Arum, the biggest ever promoter of boxing, turned 90 yesterday. The Top Rank boss, in his stellar career as a promoter, brought in many bigwigs to the sport. From promoting Muhammad Ali to getting his grandson, Nico Ali Walsh, Arum has been in the sport for a generation. That said, he is one of the most respected boxing personalities of all time.

As ‘Bobfather’ turned 90, the boxing community poured in their reactions on Twitter to wish Arum the best.

The biggest name on Arum‘s Top Rank list, and the heavyweight king, Tyson Fury, took it to Twitter and wrote, “massive happy birthday to my pal & promoter mr Bob Arum @toprank have a fantastic 90th & don’t do anything i wouldn’t god bless. xxxxxx” 

Former super-featherweight champ Jamel Herring shared some words for Arum. He tweeted, “Taking the time to wish my guy Smooth Bobby A aka Bob Arum, a happy 90th birthday. I really appreciate all the love you’ve shown throughout the years, and I hope you have a great one.”

Lou DiBella wrote, “The Sheik, Bob Arum, is 90 yrs young today. What an animal! Still doing his thing. Still on the grind. Have a great birthday, @BobArum. Cent’ Anni!” 

Fellow promoter and Queensberry boss, Frank Warren, wrote, “A huge Happy 90th Birthday to my old friend. ”

Nico Ali Walsh shared Arum’s picture with his grandfather, Muhammad Ali, and wrote a beautiful message.
