On November 27, boxing veteran Kubrat Pulev will lock horns with UFC legend Frank Mir in Triller’s Triad Combat. This will be a unique event altogether, with quite a few fighters taking up the ring space. However, Pulev and Mir will headline the event and will look to produce a fight worthy of praise.
The Triad Combat is an altogether unique concept that Triller is looking to come up with. Here, fights will take place between boxers and MMA fighters inside a triangular ring. Also, these fights will comprise a hybrid set of rules. On top of that, fighters will wear crossover gloves, and the entire theme of these fights will be striking centric, with holding still allowed.
Pulev is eager to take part in this event, and he even is ready to wage a war against Mir.

Speaking to FightHype recently, he said, “So I don’t like to speak too much what I will do because you know this is like one little war. But for sure, will be very, very heavy for him because I’m very combinative.”
He further added, “That’s why I’m prepared good, I have lot of power, and I feel great to fight with him because he’s also a great fighter and I respect him. But will be very heavy for him, really. And this is what is better for me. This is the time, 9 rounds, 2 minutes. This is really for me, more easy as boxing.”
For the past couple of years, fans have observed a major trend in boxing, i.e. exhibition bouts. However, Triller is eyeing a new concept and it’ll be interesting to see how fans react to the same.
