Jake Paul is someone who never hesitates to speak his mind. Back in the day, he used to wrestle in high school and continued it at Ohio University. Paul made his professional boxing debut in the year 2020, and in just two years, he has become the poster boy of celebrity boxing. Interestingly, he made a shocking claim that is making headlines.
‘The Problem Child’ has been calling out big names like Conor McGregor, Mike Tyson, and Gervonta Davis for a potential bout. This time he made an even bigger claim by saying, “Boxing was such a dying sport before I came into it. I literally saved the whole entire sport. Basically single-handedly, along with some other heavyweights and some lightweights, but mostly because of me, boxing was saved.”

While talking with ‘MMAFightingonSBN’, the YouTuber turned boxer said that boxing was a dying sport before he made his debut. Moreover, Paul claimed that he single-handedly saved the sport, along with some of the other boxers. This has already started making waves on the internet.
Jake Paul states the problem with boxing
The 25-year-old is steadily marching toward a career in boxing. The controversial internet personality has again come into the media spotlight as he said some words that might stir a storm in the industry.

Paul mentioned, “You don’t see the biggest fights. Tyson Fury is afraid to fight Joshua. Tyson Fury is afraid to fight Usyk. Why hasn’t Gervonta and Devin Haney fought? Why haven’t Gervonta and Ryan Garcia fought? Why aren’t these big fights happening? Because one of the parties is scared.”
Paul concluded that the big fights aren’t happening as the parties involved were afraid of losing. He pointed out the world heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, saying that he was afraid to fight Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk. Furthermore, he also posed a question about why Tank Davis was not fighting Devin Haney or Ryan Garcia.
