The boxing community lost a young and talented prospect as 24-year old Travell Mazion died in a car crash. The unfortunate incident took place Wednesday night.
Mazion was involved in a car crash that claimed multiple victims. Initially, the police officials reported that only one person died in the crash. However, it was later reported that the driver of one of the vehicles that he struck also died. The incident took place outside Austin, Texas. One other person involved in the crash is in the hospital, as told by Austin-Travis County EMS.
‘Black Magic’ had an unblemished record of 17-0, which included 13 knockouts. Just nine more days and he would have been twenty-five years old. His last win came on January 11 earlier this year against Fernando Castañeda via a 58-second knockout.
