“I can’t believe it, R.I.P Travell Mazion. For those who don’t know him or never met him, he was a very talented boxer and one of the coolest people I knew. Always enjoyed watching him fight. Love you bro, watch over us,” Ortiz wrote on Twitter.

Travell Mazion was often hailed as version 2.0 of Thomas Hearns. He was on his way to fight the best that the 154-pound division had to offer. However, the fatal accident left a void in the world of boxing.
