Boxing’s Hardest Hitter Deontay Wilder Once Struck NBA Star LeBron James With an Unexpected Message

Deontay Wilder is the biggest heavyweight icon the USA has produced in the recent past. Known for his devastating power, the former WBC heavyweight titlist compared himself with the NBA debatable GOAT, LeBron James. He came up with a bizarre subject between the two and sent an unexpected message to James.

Wilder took to Twitter and shared a collage. It contains smiling pictures of Deontay Wilder and LeBron James.

The collage was shared to compare the looks of the two legends.

‘The Bronze bomber’ wrote, Everyone keep sayin I look like @KingJames. Personally, I feel like I’m better looking lmao.”

At first glance, both appeared quite similar. But the second statement stated Wilder’s own perception. It shows that the Alabama boxer is very concerned about his physical appearance.

Interestingly, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ told in an interview with SI that he is struggling with the fact that he is mistaken for an NBA legend because of his looks.

Comparison between Deontay Wilder and LeBron James

Not only do LeBron James and Deontay Wilder look similar, but the duo is also among the most dominant icons of their sport. Both are on the verge of pausing their competitive career and have accomplished a lot to be called the future Hall of Famer.

The NBA legend is a staunch boxing fan and frequently appears in the big title clashes between skilled technicians. He often took to lacing gloves during training sessions.

Whereas the boxing legend is among the most lethal punchers of all time. Though he is not a goat, he is among the greatest heavyweight of all time. The Olympic bronze medalist had made a record 10 defenses of his title before the reigning heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, handed him the maiden defeat of his career.
