Success in sports is frequently determined by how much effort and commitment an athlete puts forth. And it’s always the reason for joy when all of that effort pays off. Tyjon Lindsey, an Oregon State receiver who recently signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted NFL free agent, can attest to the fact that this was the case. But others than just Lindsey’s immediate family members joined in the celebration of his success.

In an odd turn of events, the family of boxing legend Muhammad Ali also took to social media to express their joy for the young athlete. Rasheda Ali, daughter of the late boxer, was one of the first to post on Instagram, congratulating Lindsey on his success. Biaggio Ali Walsh, Muhammad Ali’s grandson, and Nico Ali Walsh, Muhammad Ali’s other grandson, also took to social media to express their pride and congratulate the young athlete.
