Creed III would be the first movie in the franchise that would release in the theatres on March 3 without Sylvester Stallone. Yes, the fictional character portrayed and produced by a legendary action hero that became a household name would be missing and its impact is clearly visible because when the final trailer of the movie came out on Thursday, fans took an active part in enrolling their names on the protest side. And it is clear to everybody why it is happening so. This entire franchise, from Rocky to Creed, was Stallone’s brainchild, and now he is being sidelined. It is ironic that he is being ostracized by the stakeholders who have profited immensely from his creation.

Stallone, who starred in the Rocky franchise, has made it clear earlier that his relationship with the stakeholders of the Creed franchise has deteriorated. However, he never knew that the differences would result in him being snubbed. In an interview with Hollywood Reporter, the 76-year-old actor said, “It was taken in a direction that is quite different than I would’ve taken it. It’s a different philosophy- Irwin Winkler’s and Michael B. Jordan’s.”

Leaving this all behind, the movie is set to hit the screens. The actor and debuting director Jordan himself shared the final trailer on Instagram.

“This is so legendary. This is filmmaking like how I remember it growing up. Impact, depth, epic, and larger-than-life stories and characters. Creed is a standalone brand, in these values are even harder to achieve in times where we’ve seen everything. Blown away. Massive congratulations!!!”, another fan wrote.

“This is a war. It’s a fight. It’s a battle”, another fan wrote.
