‘Interim’ WBC featherweight champion Brandon Figueroa and former WBC super bantamweight champion Stephen Fulton are slated to lock horns on the undercard of the highly anticipated matchup between David Benavidez and David Morrell. After securing a split decision win over Carlos Castro in his comeback fight following his loss to Naoya Inoue, Fulton will vie for Figueroa’s ‘Interim’ WBC featherweight strap.

Figueroa, on the other hand, is on a three-fight winning streak since losing to Fulton back in November 2021 via majority decision. Though Figueroa has revenge on his mind ahead of this fight, he will get a lot more than that after the fight comes to an end. In fact, fighting on the Benavidez-Morrell undercard, both boxers are expected to make substantial amounts. But how much?

What is Brandon Figueroa’s fight purse against Stephen Fulton?

Brandon Figueroa is set to make a guaranteed $750,000 for his rematch against Stephen Fulton. However, his earnings could significantly increase if the event performs well on pay-per-view. According to Total Sportal, if PPV sales exceed 850,000 buys, Figueroa will earn an additional $2 million, making this one of the biggest paydays of his career.

Before his first fight with Fulton in November 2021, Figueroa was estimated to have a net worth of around $1.5 million, primarily from his in-ring earnings. He had built an impressive resume, securing victories over fighters like Luis Nery, Damien Vasquez, and Javier Nicolas Chacon. However, Fulton handed him his only career loss, making this rematch a crucial opportunity for redemption.

Figueroa’s earnings have steadily grown over the years. He reportedly made $500,000 for his last fight against Mark Magsayo and earned $650,000 for his bout against Jessie Magdaleno.

Before that, he made $1.8 million in his first fight with Figueroa and $1.5 million for his title defense against Daniel Roman.
